Mixed Martial Arts Phase Classes
This fun and challenging class contains the base for your development.
The Phase program is a ‘mixed martial arts’ class. Recommended to all new students. You will improve your fitness, conditioning, self-discipline, coordination and self defense capabilities while you relieve stress and develop a cultural appreciation. Classes are fun and high-energy. Students will be exposed to many different martial arts experiences as they progress through the Phase classes.
The goal is to get you in shape but also be comfortable and enjoy the process. As you progress through the Phase class, you will begin to work on your body mechanics, endurance and technique. Through the drills you will begin to acquire good reactions and automatic responses.
Self Defense for Women
Today's streets are teeming with violent occurrences. People are being assaulted, robbed and murdered for little or nothing. Women are being beaten, mugged, raped and murdered. No matter how safe you try to be, there is no guarantee this won't happen to you.
This is a special program designed to meet the self-protection needs of women, teenagers, and girls. Adapted and developed from the US Navy SEAL self defense system, this training will provide you, your sisters, your girlfriends, and your daughters with the skills and training to be aware, make intelligent decisions, and learn how to disengage from violent encounters in order to escape. This program is specially structured to empower you with the physical skills to protect yourself as well as empower you mentally and spiritually to face your fears and overcome them.
Mixed Martial Arts for Kids
Kids MMA is a mixed martial arts training program designed for youngsters to benefit enormously from the inevitable physical and mental improvements that come with MMA training.
Martial arts training is one of the most beneficial activities in which your child can participate and learn self-control, respect, and get in shape, all in a safe and fun environment.

Muay Thai (Thai Boxing)
Muay Thai is known as the "King of the Ring" in kickboxing circles. These fights feature punches, kicks, elbows, knees, standing grappling and head-butts to wear down and knock out their opponent. Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardio-vascular endurance as well as fighting spirit.
This program is for everyone, from beginners to experienced people looking to build the basic fundamentals of Muay Thai kickboxing. These fun, fast tempo and very safe sessions focuses on building a solid foundation emphasizing stances, movement and explosive offensive power techniques. It will also build basic power with heavy emphasis on cardio-vascular conditioning, using strength and conditioning drills used to train world class fighters. Jeet Kune Do
Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist) is a hybrid martial arts system and life philosophy founded by the legendary Bruce Lee with direct, non classical and straightforward movements. JKD is known as the forerunner to the mix martial arts scene in UFC.
The Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do classes at King of the Ring Martial Arts are devoted entirely to teaching and preserving the arts & philosophies of the late Bruce Lee. Students are able to enhance their natural attributes, such as coordination, timing, speed, endurance, strength and agility, using the innovative teaching and training methods developed by Bruce Lee.
JKD emphasizes concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics that allow you to end the fight as quickly as possible. It is based on the concepts of simplicity, directness and efficiency.
Filipino Martial Arts
Filipino Martial Arts is an umbrella term used to describe the numerous martial art forms including Kali/Eskrima/Arnis that originated in the Philippines.
A fighting method considered by many to be one of the most deadliest combat systems in the world. Developed and proven on the battlefield in warfare, Kali-Escrima is a weapons-based art taught weapons first.
Practitioners of Filipino Martial Arts are noted for their ability to fight with weapons or empty hands interchangeably. Empty-handed techniques "Hands, fingers, fists, elbows, knees, kicks, locks & blocks" are treated as using just another type of weapon, and weapons training are used to promote proficiency in empty-handed techniques.
